“Windows of Heaven” Food Bank Ministry
“test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.” Malachi 3:10 (Amplified Version)
The “Windows of Heaven” Food Bank Ministry conducted by Christ Fellowship Church (CFC) was established in April 1999 under the leadership of Pastor Enoch N. Butler and the first administrator was Mrs. Marva V. Hamilton.
The Food Bank ministry was initially established as an outreach ministry to serve as a supplemental food program to families and individuals in the greater Herndon, Virginia area.
Currently, the Food Bank ministry volunteers serve families and individuals throughout Northern Virginia and extends to some families that live in West Virginia.
The CFC Food Bank Ministry partners with its sister church, Beacon Hill Missionary Baptist Church (BHMBC) and CFC administers the food bank programs on Thursdays (except Thanksgiving and Christmas) from 11:30 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m. BHMBC administers the food bank programs on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 12 noon.
In the event of possible closure due to inclement weather on Thursdays, please check the CFC Homepage Events or at www.cfchurch.org for information.
May God richly bless and keep you in all things,
The CFC Food Bank Ministry staff
